President Bill Anderson a native of Chicago holds a degree in Business Management from South
           Suburban College.   A Vietnam Veteran Marine Corps Sergeant, has spent most of his working life
           in the Architectural Aluminum & Glass Industry.  Starting as a storefront fabricator and  going on to
develop the very successful Door Services, Inc.
In 1995  Bill moved from Chicago and began working with Southeast Mechanical Contractors of Tampa as a
Project Manager, responsible for the mechanical and plumbing systems on many notable projects in the
Tampa Bay area.

In 2003, after Southeast Mechanical  Contractors of Tampa closed due to the passing of his friend, mentor and owner, Bill became president of the new Southeast Mechanical of Florida, Inc. and now handles the day-to-day administrative affairs of the company along with his friend and partner Steve Devald.

A dedicated husband and father he and his wife Kathleen enjoy their 5 children and 3 grandchildren, along with fishing, traveling  and raising exotic orchids.

Vice President and Director of Operations Steve Devald hales from Buffalo, NY.  Steve graduated 1st in his
class from McKinley Vocational, where he majored in Plumbing & Plumbing Technology.  I  addition to his
schooling at McKinley, Steve attend a 5 Year program through the United Association of Journeymen and
Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada.   Spending his
youth a an apprentice plumber Steve learned his trade from the ditch to the top  Steve acquired his
Journeymen Plumbers license in 1972 and since has become a Master Plumber. 

Relocating to the Tampa Bay area in 1976, he has developed his skills over the years in the Florida
Construction Industry, Steve has gone on to train some of the leading plumbing superintendents and
inspectors in the Tampa Bay area through his association with the Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors in the Tampa Bay area..

Devoted husband and father, Steve enjoys family, friends and life.  Steve  is an avid golfer  and enjoys weekend golf getaways with his lovely young wife of 39 Years Madonna.   In addition to being a Master Plumber, excellent golfer, he also holds a Six Pack Captains license and is a champion angler.

General Superintendent Spurgeon Walters comes to us from the Virgin Islands with years of experience in
the construction industry.  Spurgeon began his career with Southeast Mechanical Contractors of Tampa
in 1992 as a Plumber and trained as an  HVAC Technician.  Today he holds the responsibilities of our
General Superintendent overseeing all phases of our construction and service departments.  His experience
ranges from single-family homes to high rise buildings, working on many  notable projects such as
Moffitt Cancer Center, Bank of America Tower & numerous branches, Elementary, Middle and High Schools
for Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Highlands and Hardee counties to name a few.  Spurgeon's hands-on
experience makes him the right man for the right job and is a valuable asset to our team.

Being an avid sports fan, Spurgeon enjoys attending many of the local college football games and closely follows  the success of the Rays and Buc's.  He also enjoys traveling with his life-long companion Lois and spending time with their children & grandchildren.
